I have had a style crush on Miranda Kerr for quite some time now. So as I sit here in a rather boring Uni lecture, I thought it would be more productive to inspire you all, my lovely followers, as you all compose your LFW outfits, by compiling a quick blog post of some of my favourite Kerr street style looks. Let me know what you think! x

WHAT I WORE…
So I was just telling someone today how I’m not really a personal style blogger, more of a bit-of-everything kind of gal. However I couldn’t help sharing this outfit with you that I wore today. Ever since I bought this skirt from Urban Outfitters I have wanted to wear it every day (I have resisted though and managed to simply wear it every other day!) it’s such an easy piece to wear and an awesome print (completely on trend for this summer’s monochrome trend which is MASSIVE already!) Let me know what you think- and I may post a few more ‘what I wore’ pics as London Fashion Week approaches!! x

A KNITWEAR LOVE AFFAIR…
So autumn has officially arrived, its time to get out those chunky knits, bulk buy the hot chocolate (and marshmallows) and prepare for the arrival of winter. Sounds slightly depressing doesn’t it; especially since everyone thought we were going to have an ‘indian summer’ – I swear they just say that every year? Anyway, I was not looking forward to the approaching winter season UNTIL I discovered Aubin & Wills and their beyond gorgeous knitwear collection.
I’m afraid to say until this past weekend I had never been into an Aubin & Wills, I was naive to think that as a sister brand of Jack Wills it would consist of the same kind of thing: branded hoodies, tartan print PJ bottoms etc etc. Yet little did I realise, Aubin & Wills is the much more beautiful, intelligent and timeless elder sister; who little sis JW can only dream of one day becoming (no offence JW, my sister loves you so keep doing what you’re doing).
From shirt dresses to lace dresses all the garments seem classic and timeless, but have some great feminine touches. However on this first shopping trip it was the knitwear that really caught my eye. All of the jumpers were SO soft, I just wanted to curl up in the changing room and hibernate in a pile of them!! Plus how could you resist this cute fox motif jumper (available in grey and beige).
I couldn’t leave without buying something, and whilst I couldn’t quite bring myself to splash out on a jumper so early in the month I did leave with this gorgeous scarf (and I shall be returning next month for the matching hat too!!!)
Trust me, go and check out Aubin & Wills for those winter warmers because I promise they won’t disappoint!! x
p.s. My scarf and I have been inseparable since the day I bought it, here’s some evidence of my knitwear love affair…
WHAT I WORE…#VogueFest
Hello everyone, a quick apology for those who received an email notification about this post being up and it not existing yet! Slight technical issue my end – that’ll teach me from trying to blog from my phone!
Anyway! We are here now!
So I don’t normally do the whole ‘what I wore’ thing, however I thought I’d do a quick share to see what you guys think. I have a fairly simple style and most of my outfits feature a fair bit of Whistles (of course!) I didn’t really think much about what I was going to wear at the Vogue Festival but I went for the printed trouser trend for both days as I love it and it’s so easy to wear. Of course the Wisteria print trousers do feature…
Day 1:
So for day 1, I had no idea what to expect from the festival so I went for a casual and comfy outfit of printed Whistles jeans, topshop blouse, Zara coat and of course the Whistle’s Marianne satchel!
Day 2:
After day 1 I had discovered a formula that worked. So once again, the printed trouser was back, this time – the classic Whistles Wisteria Print trouser; with cream topshop knit, topshop tribal necklace, and the same Zara coat and Whistle’s Marianne Satchel.
Obviously there is SO much more to blog about from #VogueFest than just what I wore!! I have been manically taking notes over the past couple of days and I hope to share all the happenings with you over the coming week or so…it’s too much to cover in just one post so bare with me!
Good luck to everyone I know running the London Marathon tomorrow and have a good Saturday night everyone! x
WFW IS BACK!!
IT’S OFFICIAL!!
WINCHESTER FASHION WEEK IS BACK!! and it’s going to be BIGGER and BETTER than ever before!
The date is set. It is now official that the second ever Winchester Fashion Week will run from the 9th to the 16th June 2012. Following last year’s resounding success, an amazing new team of students and volunteers are busily working away on the south coast to make this year’s Fashion Week one to remember.
With this year’s theme being ‘Best of British’, Winchester Fashion Week will be working harder than ever to promote and celebrate the amazing local homegrown talent.
According to the OFFICIAL press release out this week:
“2012 can expect to see even more fashion revelry than 2011 with a timetable full of events for all ages. Exhibitions, creative workshops, addresses from fashion industry insiders, catwalk shows, a vintage day and a frock swap all culminating in the much anticipated return of Cirque Du Fashion Shows at the Winchester Guildhall as well as much, much more!”
I will try to get you sneak peeks into the inner workings of WFW as the event gets nearer, but I must say it all does sound jolly exciting!! So book that week off work NOW and write it all over your diaries/calendars/iphones etc 9th to the 16th June 2012 is a week NOT to be missed!!

JUST A QUICKY…
Hola everyone! Just working on my next big blog post…the BAFTAs. Will post that asap and will be back on BBC Radio Solent this week to discuss all the fashions live on air! It will be my normal Friday afternoon slot, keep an eye on my twitter @vikkilondon for more updates on that!
Anyway just to keep you going, heres a little something to tingle your fashion taste buds! (we all need a little monday morning distraction from work!)
So you guys know I love a good hat but just thought I’d show you my new addition to my collection…the winter turban!
It’s from Urban Outfitters in the SALE! Amazing bargain! Seen here with my classic French Connection fur coat. So what are we thinking about the winter turban? Would love to hear your comments! Have a great Monday! X
MODEL CRUSH: KARLIE KLOSS
I love when you wake up on a lazy Friday morning to find a super thick Vogue magazine in your post box; and this month’s edition was bumper packed with some amazing shoots! One in particular caught my eye.
‘Lady Luxe’ shot by Mario Testino and styled by Lucinda Chambers was full of colour, glamour, texture/print and frankly it was just plain amazing. It also reminded me of how much I love Karlie Kloss.

She is so versatile as a model, but I think she really suits this glam/retro, lady like look. She has been a muse to many, opened and closed so many catwalk shows, she’s become a Victoria’s Secret Model and she’s only 19!! (Well to be fair, that is like approaching middle-aged I suppose for ‘model life’ isn’t it?)
Anyway I love her style off the catwalk too, and often find myself being influenced by her simple, yet effortlessly chic look.
Let me know if you love ‘The Kloss’ too! I think she’s one of THE models at the moment, and I’m sure she’s going to continue to grow as a model, and we will be seeing a lot more of her in the near future!!
